Conceived as a powerful rackmount Internet security platform, the FW-7851F was specifically designed for high performance IDS/IPS, firewall, VPN gateway and Unified Threat Management (UTM). Designed with the Intel Core 2 Duo(Dual core) processor, it provides high performance and meets the requirements for Internet security appliances. PCI Express technology improves the I/O bandwidth and system total bandwidth up to 32 Gb/s. The system supports four hot swap 3.5"" SATA HDDs and Compact Flash for OS and Internet security applications. In addition, the FW-7851F can support system memory up to 2GB DDR2 667MHz memory. The system support RAID 0,1,5,10 for more data safely. The HDD can be inserted/removed easily from the rare panel. Designed with the Plug-and-Serve concept in mind, the FW-7851F offers six 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN ports in the front panel, two SFP port support Fiber network connect. For easy access, the front panel has a RJ45 serial port. It is FCC, UL, CE and RoHS compliant.
